RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH A BANG!
Lights, camera, action! Counting down to the New Year requires a lot of noise, sparkles, and tuning into the action in Times Square. But when looking in on other’s excitement from your TV doesn’t quite make your New Year’s one to remember, liven up your night with some exciting party-starting elements of your own! We’ve rounded up five of our favorite things to throw the ultimate New Year’s Eve bash. Let’s ring in 2018 with a bang!
Indoor fireworks are a real thing, and now you can get in on the fun! With nonflammable, smokeless and flameless elements that shoot between 3-15 feet high, you’ll be ringing in the New Year like a Rockstar. Set the fireworks to go off right at midnight to really start your New Year off with a jaw dropping, heart-warming and enchanting experience!
- Sequin Linens
From dresses to jewelry to linens, nothing says celebration like sequins. A must for New Years and luckily, there are a variety of ways to incorporate them into your event. Silver or blue sequin linens dress up your tables to make your event shine from miles away. Or, keep with the fireworks theme and go with a “fireworks” linen. Also keep in mind patterns like sequined helix or chevron sequin to add something different to the mix. If you’re looking for more subtlety, choose some chemical overlays to dress up your tables or incorporate accent/specialty tables around the room, for example a dessert table, prop table with fun gear to help ring in 2018, or tables with various photos from 2017 to remember and commemorate your past year!
- Themed Center Pieces
Whether going traditional and glam or modern and sleek, centerpieces tie your New Year’s theme together with a nice shiny bow. Our personal favorite is the Crystal Ball. With having a similar look to the ball in Times Square, it’s perfect for New Year’s Eve! LED orbs or crystal chandeliers can also add some glow to your modern event. Chose blue and/or white LED accents to light up the night!
- LED Bar
Champagne and sparkling ciders or grape juice for the kids, should be served in style. We love the acrylic LED bar as it complements the glow of New Year’s, or possibly the snow and ice outside. Keep the frosted acrylic glowing a cool white or turn up the blue for something moodier. You and your guests will love the ambiance and inventive look of this piece. After all, what’s a party without a bar?
- Live Streaming the Action
Last, but definitely not least, is the main event! It wouldn’t be New Year’s Eve without watching all the excitement in Times Square live. But what better way to feel like you’re right there in New York than to be live streaming the show on a 61-ft video wall? With sound systems built into the room to create an illusion for you and your guests, you won’t believe how much you’ll feel like you are right in the thick of things, minus the enormous crowds of people!
